“The Latinx Migrant Dictionary”

Countering the popular belief that migrants are ill-informed about immigration policies and procedures, this article contends that migrant testimonies reveal a rich lexicon through which Spanish-speaking migrants document, reflect on, and analyze their experiences. Through exploring this vocabulary, Vergara situates migrants as critical social analysts of the migratory experience.
