GWS Professors Launch Big Ten Trans Studies Initiative

GWS faculty Toby Beauchamp and Mimi Thi Nguyen, along with Prof. Aren Aizura at the University of Minnesota, have received a three-year grant from the Big Ten Academic Alliance to build trans studies across the Big Ten campuses. As one part of this project, the University of Illinois will host a symposium featuring faculty and student research in the field during AY 2025-26.
