Hiring Summer 2021 Grad Instructors

Attention Graduate Students!  GWS is looking for students who are interested in teaching during Summer 2021.  Please see the following position announcements for more details.  Applications are due March 1st.

GWS 202:  Sexualities (Summer II, 6/14-8/5/21)

GWS 255:  Queer Lives, Queer Politics (Summer I, 5/17-6/11/21)

GWS 378:  Fairy Tales and Gender Formation (Summer II, 6/14-8/5/21)


The Department of Gender and Women’s Studies is seeking applications for graduate instructor positions for Summer 2021.  The instructor will be responsible for all aspects of instruction, including syllabus design, teaching, office hours, and grading.   This position is contingent upon enrollment. 

Applicants must be UIUC graduate students enrolled in a graduate program that has not been designated as cost-recovery or self-supporting.  Teaching assistants must be on campus and available to work on the first day of their appointment.  

Applicants should have previous teaching experience and a strong academic background in gender studies and sexuality studies, including queer and/or trans studies.
