GWS Outstanding Student Award Application Guidelines

The Department of Gender and Women’s Studies at the University of Illinois, Urbana-Champaign invites nominations for the GWS Outstanding Student Award.  Letters of nomination may come from faculty, academic professionals, staff, and students from across campus, and should nominate a GWS Major or Minor.  Letters should address one or more of the following areas, but may take into consideration other characteristics you deem important:

• Scholarship
• Event Planning
• Public Service
• Creativity
• Organizational Leadership
• Visionary
